A fanlisting was invented by the genius Janine. Since her idea, fans from all around the
world have been uniting and getting addicted to fanlistings! "A fanlisting is a place for
all fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, singer, etc. to come together and
build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that
subject." The definition provided is the "official" one found on the
thefanlistings.org.
More specifically, this site is a fanlisting for the fascinating location of ancient Egypt. It's amazing to think of all the influences this place had on the world's history. Not to mention the role it still plays today! Archeologists are still digging in the tombs and sites of Egypt; their most recent find was the assumed resting place of the famous queen, Nefertiti. Movies have been made based on Egypt; books have been written set in the desert land. Quite simply, ancient Egypt is important. :)
